		<Abstract>Abstract &lt;br /&gt;Considering of the importance and function of flower flies of the Syrphinae subfamily in the integrated pest management and sustainable agriculture, their identification were conducted in Kendovan region in East Azerbaijan province during 2009- 2011. In a total, seventeen species belonging to ten genera and three tribes were verified which all of them are as new records for the study area and &lt;em&gt;Leucozona&lt;/em&gt; &lt;em&gt;lucorum&lt;/em&gt; Linnaeus 1758 is newly reported for the insect fauna of Iran. Identification key to studied genera and photos of the new record genus are provided. &lt;br /&gt; </Abstract>
