		<Abstract>&lt;strong&gt;Abstract&lt;/strong&gt;
&lt;strong&gt;Background &amp; Objectives:&lt;/strong&gt; Production of medicinal plants with using from organic and bio-fertilizers leads to increase of quantity and quality of active substances such as essential oil. This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of organic and bio-fertilizers on yield and essential oil production of green basil in order to reducing of chemical fertilizer application in Kelardasht region.
 
&lt;strong&gt;Materials and Methods:&lt;/strong&gt; The experiment was conducted based on a randomized complete block design with six treatments and three replications in Kelardasht of Iran in 2021. The treatments were vermicompost (10 t.ha&lt;sup&gt;-1&lt;/sup&gt;), nitroxin (2 lit. ha&lt;sup&gt;-1&lt;/sup&gt;), bio-superphosphate (2 lit. ha&lt;sup&gt;-1&lt;/sup&gt;), nitroxin + bio-superphosphate, vermicompost + nitroxin + bio-superphosphate, chemical fertilizer (80 and 60 kg. ha&lt;sup&gt;-1&lt;/sup&gt; nitrogen and phosphorus, respectively). The measured traits included plant height, dry weight of plant, nitrogen percent in leaf, herb yield, essential oil content, essential oil yield, contents of citral,&lt;strong&gt; &lt;/strong&gt;Methyl chavicol, E-Caryophyllene, trans-α-bergamotene in essential oil.
 
&lt;strong&gt;Results:&lt;/strong&gt; The results showed that treatments had significant effects on studied traits, as the highest plant height (36.5 cm) in treatment of bio-superphosphate, the highest dry weight of plant (7.66 g plant&lt;sup&gt;-1&lt;/sup&gt;) and nitrogen percent in leaf (2.06%) in integrated treatment of nitroxin and bio-superphosphate and the highest herb yield (653.2 kg.ha&lt;sup&gt;-1&lt;/sup&gt;), essential oil content (0.44%) and essential oil yield (2.88 kg.ha&lt;sup&gt;-1&lt;/sup&gt;) in treatment of vermicompost were obtained. In an investigation of essential oil components, the highest citral&lt;strong&gt; &lt;/strong&gt;content (58.33%) in in treatment of bio-superphosphate and then treatment of vermicompost application (55.23%), the highest E-Caryophyllene content (4.37%) in treatment of vermicompost and the highest Methyl chavicol&lt;strong&gt; &lt;/strong&gt;content (43.17%) in chemical fertilizer were obtained.

&lt;strong&gt;Conclusion:&lt;/strong&gt; In general, the results of this study showed, the application of organic and bio fertilizers, specially vermicompost in comparison to chemical fertilizer had a considerable role in increasing of yield and quantity and quality of essential oil of basil.
