Abstract

the careless use of chemical fertilizers causes a number of environmental harms. Nitrogen plays a role in the formation of amino acids, proteins, nucleic acids, enzymes, chlorophyll, vitamins. The use of biofertilizers is one of the most important approaches to reducing the use of chemical fertilizers. Canola is one of the crops of Brassicaceae family, which is considered one of the important sources of vegetable oil production. Due to the dependence of the country on imported edible oil and the importance of using biofertilizers, this study was conducted with the aim of investigation the effects of biofertilizers and nitrogen fertilizer on yield and yield components and oil percentage of canola. The experiment was conducted as a factorial based on randomized complete blocks design with three replications. Experimental treatments include chemical fertilizer at three levels (no application of fertilizer and application of 125 and 250 kg ha-1 of nitrogen) and bifertilizers at four levels (without biofertilizers, application of Azotobarvar-1, Phosphobarvar-2 and the combined of them). Application of nitrogen fertilizer yield and yield compounds of canola. Application of bifertilizers improved plant dry weight, oil percentage and oil yield. The highest number of seeds per plant and grain yield was obtained at the combination of biofertilizers with the application of 250 kg ha-1 of nitrogen. Based on the results, the combined application of Azotobarvar-1 + Phosphobarvar-2 biofertilizers along with nitrogen fertilizer due to the improvement of yield, yield components and oil content can be recommended for profitable of canola production in fields.
